Activity logs allow you to keep track of the events and actions related to M2E Pro Listing, 3rd Party Listing, order management, synchronization running, and to troubleshoot the issues if any occur.

Each log record shows the date/time when an action/event occurred, action/event description, which Listing and Product was impacted by the action/event, whether the action/event was run automatically or manually, etc.

You may see the following types of notification message:

  • Notice - informs about the action occurred.
  • Success - confirms that the action was completed successfully. In M2E Pro Listing grid, success message returned for a product will be marked withicon.
  • Warning - alerts about possible/encountered problems during the action. Warnings do not prevent the action from being completed. You may see a warning message undericon in M2E Pro Listing grid.
  • Error - alerts about problems occurred during the action. Errors prevent the action from being completed. If any error is returned for a product, icon will appear in M2E Pro Listing grid.

Let's take a closer look at the activity logs.

M2E Pro Listing logs

M2E Pro Listing logs can be found under eBay Integration > Listings > Logs & Events. Switch the Listing Type option to M2E Pro to review the log.

M2E Pro Listing log keeps the records of what changed in product data, the success of run actions, updating of Magento Product and eBay Item statuses, warnings/errors returned by eBay API, etc.

You can filter out the records by eBay account or site, creation date or action performed, etc. For example, to see what changes were made to the products via M2E Pro, you need to select Revise Item on Channel. Item updates made directly on the Channel can be listed by selecting Change Item on Channel.

Important Note

Change Item on Channel filter option shows product changes made directly in your eBay Seller Center. The Extension does not initiate these changes. It only records them to product logs.

Tip

Filter and Sort options will make your search more reasonable.

3rd Party Listing logs

Under eBay Integration > Listings > Logs & Events, switch the Listing Type option to 3rd Party to review the relevant log.

The 3rd Party Listing log is used to keep the records for when a 3rd Party Item was added or removed from M2E Pro, mapped to Magento Product or moved to M2E Pro Listing. More information about the 3rd Party Item management can be found here.

Important Note

Change Item on Channel filter option shows product changes made directly in your eBay Seller Center. The Extension does not initiate these changes. It only records them to product logs.

Note

The log is available only if the 3rd Party Import is enabled in your Account configuration.

Tip

Use the Filter and Sort functionality at the top of the grid to make your search reasonable.

Order logs

Order log lets you keep track of what Magento orders, shipments or invoices were created for the corresponding eBay orders. To review the records, please navigate to eBay Integration > Sales > Logs & Events.

Tip

Use the Filter and Sort functionality at the top of the grid to make your search reasonable.

Synchronization logs

Synchronization log warns you about issues occurred during M2E Pro Listing, 3rd Party Listing, Order, eBay site, etc. synchronization. You can check the relevant records by navigating to eBay Integration > Health Status > Dashboard > Developer Area > Synchronization Log.

Tip

Use the Filter and Sort functionality at the top of the grid to make your search reasonable.
